Deby and Blair have a new sailboat, the nice Hunter 41DS (Deck Salon), now named Andiamo! They had lots of questions. Sorting out the boat systems, we dug into the bilges and engine compartment, from the packing glan to the sink drains, following wiring, hoses and deck-fills. We found and checked the diesel and transmission fluid, and played a few docking games. Eager to sort out anchoring and the in-mast mainsail, we motored over to the other side of Saddlebag Island. Anchoring in 20' is easy with a windlass! We played with the lines, found the important outhaul, and even re-led one of the halyards. Yes the sail does have a roach curve up there, maybe a short batten? What a nice evening! Back at the dock, look at the post, what a high tide! As usual, I try to get shots of the crew, sails and scenery to share. Please enjoy these snapshots - these pics are good therapy for me, and it's always a good to be on another boat, especially with such sweet gracious people! Thanks all!
